What are you doing?

So, I have a question for you… did you know that people are dying all around you? Everyday, people die. Think about it. If you’ve ever lost a loved one, you know how hard it is to lose someone you love even when you know that they’re spending an eternity in Heaven. But what if you didn’t know? What hope would you have?

Okay, here’s another question… Say your loved one is at the store and they’re not a Christian, but there is a Christian at that same store that has an AMAZING story to tell, but decide to keep it to themselves. On the way home for that store, your loved one is killed in a car crash. They never got to hear the story of Jesus. They never found hope, love, joy, fulfillment. Thats a hard pill to swallow right?

Let me make this clear. Switch that story around. At least 75% of the time, we’re the Christian in the store. We keep our mouths shut and keep the amazing story of Jesus Christ to ourselves. Why? Someone in this world has a loved one that will leave that store and could very well die on the way home and you didn’t bother to take five minutes to tell them the greatest news ever. Do you understand the awesomeness of this story? Good, we’re not supposed to. That’s the point. It is beyond human understanding! That’s how awesome it is. Why is it so hard to share such an awesome story?

Here is my challenge, for you (ALL AGES) and me: This week, share the gospel, or your story with at least 1 person. Tell me about it as a comment on this blog post. Next week, 2 people. After that, 3 people. The fourth week, share with 4 people. Did you know it takes four weeks to form a habit? In four weeks, you shared the greatest story ever with 10 people and formed one of the best habits you’ll ever have in your entire life! Be assured I am taking this challenge with you all! I can’t wait to hear what God does!
